Just a 1-minute walk from Kawaguchiko Train Station and situated in the scenic Mount Fuji area, Plaza Inn features karaoke and massages and offers free parking. Rooms are air-conditioned, with an en suite bath/shower, a wardrobe and an LCD TV.

Very convenient

It is close to Kawaguchi-ko Station.Convenience stores and restaurants are also convenient. The staff at the front desk was very kind.

Close to station and service station

Staff are always there to help. I like the fact that you leave the key at the front desk. They took our luggage to our room for us and stored it at the hotel for FREE.

Lift could only fit one person with luggage.

Very Good

Location was across from the Kawaguchiko Bus Station and central to Fujikawaguchiko. Amenities were as described. Staff was very friendly. Check in and check out process was easy. There is a small elevator and parking on site.

It's a no frills place - a good place to sleep for the night, but don't expect bells and whistles. Some of the facilities were patched up and there were some cobwebs, but I didn't mind it much and I think it added to the charm of the place. It worked well for me because I just needed a place to sleep for the night before heading to Mt Fuji for a hike the next day.

Good place to stay

Good location; short walk from Kawaguchiko station and easy to find.

Wifi is very slow. It's the kindness of the hotel to provide baggage storage after checking out but it is limited at 3.00 PM. And you have to be out of the hotel completely after you took your belonging back at 3.00 PM; no service even sitting at the lobby anymore. It's bussiness, I see.

Acceptable for short stays and for those who value location and price over anything else.

Pros: - Amazing location that was easy to find and right in front of the station. - Plenty of food and shopping places nearby. - Room was decently warm in the winter. - You get free yukata to dress into so you can leave pajamas at home if you want! - Front staff seemed limited on English ability but was very helpful and gave us a small souvenir when we left!

Cons: - Facilities are old. This is a business hotel, so I'm not expecting a lot, but the bathroom wall had holes on it and were just covered up with stickers. The kettle in our room did not work very well. The water pressure in the shower was not consistent - like it would literally go from weak to strong back to weak in one second, and alternate between hot and cold. One of the soles of the slippers were falling apart. Elevator is tiny and is only appropriate for one person with their luggage - maybe two if they're small. - Cleanliness could be improved. The water cups in the bathroom smelled a bit funky and the kettle wasn't fully dried before we checked in... - Amenities were lacking. You get a small thing of bad soap, a razor, toothbrush (with the tiniest amount of toothpaste), and single use packs of a combined shampoo/conditioner. It'll get you through the night but bring your own if you know you'll need it.

Exceptional location. Friendly staffs even though they can't speak English.

The bed is uncomfortable. No sound proof. The wall is very thin. You can clearly hear your neighbors' conversations.

Great mountain view, clean, opposite to train /bus stations

originally was assigned a fair view room, but after asking, the receptionist (my be boss) give me the best mountain view room, appreciated. Location is great, just opposite to train station. It also has microwave, only drawback is without laundry.

Good location and amazing views to Mt Fuji

I just spent one night. It was very convenient for me because the location, in front of train station and buses terminal. If you’re lucky and have a room with views to Mt Fuji, you’ll enjoy an amazing panorama at the morning. The staff was friendly.

The hotel is a little bit out dated, rooms could be a little bit cleaner and I would have need a more powerful heater for the winter night… but for one night it was ok.
